Are you broken and not capable of dieting?

Lets address the elephant in the room 👀
It’s something I’ve heard on numerous occasions, something that many of the legends I’ve had the pleasure of working with have said at some point to me,
It’s something that many are led to believe from some marketing on social media, from peers, from family members, even healthcare professionals, maybe not directly, more so indirectly from comments.
It’s something that actually halts progress, it stops you ever really healing, ever getting the deep sense of freedom from food, from your body..
You do not need fixing
Wild revelation I know.
But the reality is, most of you believe you are flawed, you believe there is something wrong with you,
You question why you find it so hard, and others don’t?
You compare to people on social media and conclude you are broken, that there’s no hope for you.
You conclude that there is no hope for you, you remain stuck.
Stuck in a cycle of binge -> restrict,
Stuck hating your body, feeling shame.
The truth is you do not need fixing,
You do not need more motivation,
And you do not need more gaslighting, which is something you probably do regularly to yourself, I know I once did too,
You actually need more understanding,
You need more compassion,
You need a redirection.
You see, you blame yourself for your overeating, throw in the reductive narrative on social media, in diet culture, you think it’s a you problem, hence the belief you need fixing.
And despite done large influencers saying you’re just “gluttonous” you are not.
Your overeating doesn’t need fixing,
It needs understanding,
When you can understand what purpose it is serving you can work on ways to meet your needs outside of food.
Your overeating doesn’t need removing,
You need the space to express your emotions, in ways that feel safe without the soul reliance upon food.
Food is meeting your needs,
It is helping boredom,
It’s your only way to manage stress,
It’s suppression of your emotions.
It’s giving you joy,
And even avoidance of other things going off in your life.
I get that, it was easier for me to binge eat than sit with the reality of fearing rejection,
It was easier for me to suppress my feelings than to find outlets when I grew up in an environment that repeatedly told me to “not worry, to get on with life, to be grateful”
It was easier for me to eat away my problems than to address the toxic relationship I was in.
And even though I found weight loss during this, I never maintained in, I still felt consumed by food, by my body,
I still found comfort in binge eating.
I still felt like a fraud,
Because I wasn’t fixed.
Breaking away from the belief that you need fixing, helps open your heart to greater awareness, understanding, the recognition of your triggers, situations that are causing overeating.
It’s here that you reduce the food noise, the food guilt, the all or nothing.
It’s here you find the confidence and self belief to be around all foods, to be social, to take up space, to be authentic without seeking validation from others.
We have the methodology, the core principles that bring you the mindset flex, self awareness, and behaviours to feel free from food, we remove the feeling of broken and help you feel like you again, free from the mental burden of food and your body that’s held you back.
Analisia said to me this week “you’re awesome, when you mentioned (insert subjective change) to me, I thought you were on crack, but I honestly feel so good, I didn’t think it was possible”
But here’s the thing - impossible = I’m possible, and you are. You can find the link below to secure your spot towards food and body freedom today.
